Niko is currently with his puppy raiser. He is being taught a foundation of house manners and cues, for becoming a well-socialized part of the community.

Niko is a delightful puppy who is eager to please. We’ve been working on the basics: sit, down, calm cookie, leash walking and he’s doing well. He responds almost perfectly to “puppy, puppy” as a recall and loves to bounce his puzzle balls around the kitchen floor for kibble treats. He sleeps through the night and handles being in his crate when we go out for a couple of hours without issue. We love having him with us!

Niko is learning how to settle in a number of settings and how to cuddle in new ways that will be used to support a future partner. He is finishing grade school and will be moving to high school next month.

Niko is a happy, sweet, and gentle pup. He’s been working on all his skills and has learned so much! One of his favourite outings is to go to the mall, where he’s a wonderful ambassador for NSD when people stop and ask about him. He’s come far with his settling and most workdays can be found under the desk, sleeping or chewing on his Benebone. He’s an absolute delight!

Niko is a very sweet, gentle and friendly boy who is eager to learn. His loose leash walking is very, very good and one of his favourite places to walk around is the mall. He’s worked hard on his settling and has come such a long way since his early puppy days. Niko is a delightful puppy.
