NSD Crew

Crew is currently with her adult raiser. She has started College and goes to NSD for training 1 day a week. When not at NSD, she learns how to settle, cuddle and continue to be a welcomed member of the community. This training will help prepare her to be matched with her client.

All of the training and care provided to each dog would not be possible without the support of generous volunteers and donors.

Training Updates

Crew is doing great and has settled in nicely, she is learning to master her house manners. She is getting used to her vest and halti and learning some new commands like leave it and wait. she loves walking on the street and has gotten really good at staying focused when passing people! We are still working on dogs and children which are super exciting. She is eager to learn and loves to show off her skills.

Crew is a sweet and gentle pup who is eager to work and learn. She loves all people and has gotten really good at working with other handlers. She’s working hard on expanding her skills, especially in public.

Crew continues to be a lovely girl! She has had lots of new experiences with sitters and has taken them all on with confidence. She is now in high school and is learning new skills such as back, stand and touch to help prepare her for NSD university or college.

Crew is a very sweet and kind girl. She loves everyone! Which means she is super excited to meet everyone! She is working on staying calm and focused on her handler when out in public. Crew is very smart and quick to learn any new task asked of her. Her most recent accomplishment is settling into her new home with her adult raiser family without an issue.

Crew recently moved to a new home and has been settling into her new environment. She is currently working on building her confidence and being comfortable staying at home for longer periods of time.

Crew is a sweet, friendly pup who wants to please! She has mastered basic skills and we’re working on helping her to ignore distractions she loves: delicious smells and other dogs/people. Crew has made good progress, especially with settling before she meets a new person. She enjoys greeting folks with her beloved toy, Fox. Crew is a pleasure to raise!

Crew has been actively learning at University. They have been learning resiliency with their basic obedience; settling in the kennel, heeling, food refusal and dog distraction. They have also been working hard and learning expectations with handler transfers. The training team is excited to continue to build on these excellent foundation behaviours, by helping Crew transfer these skills into the community.

Crew is one of our quietest and sweetest learners, already off her tether. She quickly learned her flop and chin.
