NSD would not exist without the hard work and dedication of our 275+ volunteers who generously donate over 292,000 hours of volunteer time annually.

Train a Future Service Dog
Adult Raiser
Help facilitate training and care for a Service Dog until they find their forever family
Carpool Driver
Transport Service Dogs with your car to their weekday training sessions.
Breeder Caretaker
Provide a loving environment for a breeding dog in between litters.
Whelping Home
Welcome litters of puppies for about eight weeks with support from NSD staff.
