Fez is currently with his adult raiser. He has started University and goes to NSD for training 5 days a week. When not at NSD, he learns how to settle, cuddle and continue to be a welcomed member of the community. This training will help prepare him to be matched with his client.
All of the training and care provided to each dog would not be possible without the support of generous volunteers and donors.

December 2022
Fez is progressing so well in his training! He recently started grade school and will be learning new skills like up,up, off, spin and turn while also practicing his skills in new environments to help build duration.
March 2023
Fez is currently finishing grade school and will start high school next month. At this point, he has learnt the basics of most of his skills and will start working on increasing duration, distance and distractions when working on these skills. He is such a smart boy and continues to excel at everything he does.
April 2023
Fez is easy going, playful, cuddly, loves people and he is very self-controlled. He is good with leaving the kibbles when the food is dropped around him intentionally. He was able to wait for more than 8 minutes at the bottom of the stairs when I went upstairs. He waited patiently until I came down stairs to release him.
September 2023
Fez has a good personality with lots of energy! He does great on walks, staying calm and stopping at intersections. Fez likes to chase the cat and is working on settling around his new furry friend. He is still working on his skills to get ready for university. Really glad that Fez is a soccer fan like me!
Training Update - December 2023
Fez has been actively learning at University. They have been learning resiliency with their basic obedience; settling in the kennel, heeling, food refusal and dog distraction. They have also been working hard and learning expectations with handler transfers. The training team is excited to continue to build on these excellent foundation behaviours, by helping Fez transfer these skills into the community.
Fez is making great leaps in his learning. He is able to problem solve and learn new behaviours.
