Ranger is an intelligent and confident little pup. He makes great eye contact with his handler and is very food motivated which makes training easier. He is currently exploring new sights, sounds and textures in his home environment while he works on the commands sit, down, watch me, and wait. He self settles easily, is sleeping 8 hours at night, and is rocking loose leash walking in the house and yard. His biggest challenges to overcome are chewing on people, shoes and furniture and crate training during the day. He is making great progress in even his most challenging areas and we are excited to watch Ranger progress as we soon take training out into the rest of the great big world. 🙂
NSD Ranger has been working on mastering his skills, both at home and in public places. He knows all commands well and is working hard towards increased duration and transferring his knowledge to new places and in high distraction settings. Ranger continues to love belly rubs, long walks, chewing on bones and all the treats!! His house manners are excellent and because of this, he is enjoying increased independence and freedom during his downtime. Ranger is full of love for all he meets and it is a joy to help him along his journey. 💕
NSD Ranger is a super cuddly but also confident boy. His house manners are top-notch and he just seems to know what is expected of him when his jacket goes on in public settings. Since Ranger thinks everyone (both human and four-legged friends) should be his best buddy, he is working towards providing his handler focus with those exciting distractions around. Ranger’s favourite activities at home are sleeping in sunbeams, belly rubs, practicing skills for treats, and playing hide and seek.
NSD Ranger remains a confident and cuddly companion. He is eager to work and knows what is expected of him. He is a calm presence in the home always willing to accept belly rubs and snuggles. Ranger has worked hard at his distraction training and has come a long way!
Ranger is a quiet and well-behaved pup. This is my first time as a volunteer so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I think his puppy raisers did a fabulous job! In the week after our first training session, he learned “chin” and is working on not being reactive to other dogs. He can watch dogs go by the house without getting excited. We are really enjoying having him in our lives.
We are pleased to welcome Ranger into our breeding program!
