Presented by Gulf-Kuwait Unit of 1st CAV (Canadian Army Veterans), the Harry Watts Memorial Ride (AKA NSD Ride) is held annually.
This year, National Service Dogs celebrates our 15th Annual Ride and our 2nd Annual Harry Watts Memorial Motorcycle Ride in partnership with 1st CAV Gulf-Kuwait Unit. In response to COVID-19 this year’s ride will be an online historical tour highlighting our friend Harry’s journey as a Dispatch Rider in WWII.
Whether you own a bike or just wish you did you can register and participate in this year’s unique Ride.
2020 marks the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands and Victory in Europe (VE Day). We look forward to sharing historical videos and stories of events leading up to May 8, 1945 with you; as well as, the history of the various motorcycles Harry rode during the war.
The virtual journey begins Canada Day at Canada Forces Base Borden and over the next five days you will travel to Ortona, Rimini and Aquila, Italy before heading north into Holland in the lead up
to VE Day.
This year’s Charity Ride is featuring an Online Auction with a vast selection of unique items to choose from. The Auction will be available to all of our supporters and will go on-line July 1 and run through July 5th – Check It Out!
