Turbo is currently with her puppy raiser. She is being taught a foundation of house manners and cues, for becoming a well-socialized part of the community.
All of the training and care provided to each dog would not be possible without the support of generous volunteers and donors.

Turbo is settling in well into her puppy raiser home! She’s such a sweet quiet girl. She does a great job at self-regulating by playing independently or taking a nap when needed! She is great at settling in any environment. We are working away at the potty training and sleeping through the night! She knows her name and the sit command, she loves her treats 🙂 I’m so excited to see where her journey takes her!
Turbo has been doing awesome with her training! She is really starting to understand what’s expected of her in different situations. She’s learned sit, down, leave it, recall, mat and her favourite cue Spin! Turbo loves to show off her skills. We are working on her impulse control, as she is still getting excited in new situations but after a few minutes, she calms down and knows what she needs to do. She’s such a gentle girl.
Turbo’s journey has been so fun to be a part of! You can see her love for training and learning new cues! She’s learned the cue ‘under’ this month and she’s been going out into public more and learning to settle in new places. Turbo loves the snow and jumping into the big snow piles! Turbo has finished grade school and she’s off to high school!
Turbo is one year old! She’s a confident girl who loves to explore and try new things! She’s beginning to be very curious and explore her environments more; this can lead her to make some poor decisions but easily gets redirected! We have learned that she loves the water and loves to spend her days outside running around and playing in the kiddie pool! Turbo has learned some new commands including under and back up. She picks up on new commands so quickly! I can’t believe that in a few short months she will be off to her adult raiser and the next stage of her training!
